Aluminum nitride ceramic is a high-performance material particularly suited to demanding electrical applications. Aluminum nitride rod is stable at high temperatures in a range of inert environments including hydrogen and carbon dioxide atmospheres. It is principally used in the electronics area, particularly when heat removal is an important function.
